Highlights of the First Presbytery Meeting of the FPCP

‎August 31, 2026

1. Opening of the Presbytery Meeting

‎

‎Rev. John Flores opened the Presbytery Meeting by calling upon the name of the Lord in prayer, reading the Scripture and giving a timely exposition of Acts 20:17–38. He emphasized the truth that the Presbytery was intended to be under the authority of Jesus Christ. The message provided a proper and sound biblical perspective on the reasons and purposes for the establishment of the Presbytery.

‎

‎The message challenged our office bearers, reminding us that the work that we presently undertake is also in preparation for the next generations of office bearers and fellow laborers in the Free Presbyterian Church of the Philippines (FPCP) in the coming years.

‎
