*Why We Do Not Use a Fixed Liturgy
The Free Presbyterian Church of the Philippines follows the Directory for the Public Worship of God (1645) rather than a fixed liturgy. We believe that public worship should be regulated by Holy Scripture, with its elements governed by biblical principles rather than prescribed forms. While our services follow a reverent and orderly pattern, the minister is not bound to read set prayers or liturgical forms. This reflects the historic Scottish Presbyterian tradition and our commitment to the biblical Regulative Principle of Worship.
